Laure Raibaut

Laure Raibaut has over 10 years of experience working in the art world in England, France, the United States and Mainland China. Laure Raibaut graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in law and economics (2001) and a Masters in art history (2003) in Bordeaux, France, Masters in art and archaeology (2004) from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, as well as Master in Chinese art and archaeology from the Sorbonne, France. While pursuing her studies in Chinese art and language in Paris and Beijing, she contributed to several projects as researcher and curator at various museums and institutions in France and China, including the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. Between 2007 and 2013, she worked successively for the Chinese Contemporary Gallery and Eli Klein Fine Art in New York, as well as the Schoeni Art Gallery in Hong Kong, and de Sarthe gallery most recently. She also launched the Asian contemporary art department at Bonhams in Hong Kong and directed the first sales before joining Christie’s as vice- president and head of sale for Asian contemporary art also in Hong Kong. She has been on the board of the Friends of the Art Museum of the Chinese University of Hong Kong since 2014. She recently curated their 35th anniversary show at the Rotunda in Exchange Square, titled Nurturing creativity. She is currently working as a consultant
